Having them documented before they are demolished and incorporated into the design and planning of the new estate sitting on its grounds may be a viable alternative, but nonetheless, an inferior one. Our future generation may grow up having little or no inkling of the past which they do not have a chance to inhabit as there are no concrete reminders of it.
