I mentioned this in one class over the weekend....Singapore is ranked 3rd richest country in the world by per capita....useful in arguments where you want to assert Singapore's affluence...
but do note our high Gini coefficient (see HERE) which indicates that the wealth is not even distributed but in the hands of only a small portion of the population.....(but do note also the rebuttal to this high Gini coefficient)
