Note: crime may be low in Singapore, but online crime is fast rising in numbers. Low crime doesn't mean no crime.
Other than the usual points associated with internet and the crime scene, I piqued by the idea that women are cheated of their money by online scammers, in the case, online Romeos who tried to sam the women of their money by making them lose their hearts to them first....
This could be an interesting rebuttal to the point that we tend not to trust people online because there is no face-to-face interaction, and people's identity online can be faked.
Yet here we have intelligent women falling for the scams laid by these online Romeos, trusting them so much that they are willing to wire money to them without even having met them offline even once.
