Note close relationship btw Singapore and Malaysia:
-metaphor: umbilical cord (or the Chinese proverb: the teeth will be exposed to the cold if the lips are not there???) I rather like the one about how if the US sneezes, the rest of the world will catch a cold....but please do not create your own metaphor e.g. If Malaysia lets out a fart, Singapore will be knocked out by the smell.....(the examiner will laugh, even ROFL, but I can assure u that u won't score any brownie points!)
