The Uber app service has been all the rage recently....essentially, it allows people to get a ride (at a lower cost) from drivers of private cars, bypassing the taxis and cabs... On the one hand, it has certainly makes things more convenient for us....hands up those who have difficulty grabbing a cab during emergencies or peak hours! But on the other hand, its hugely popular service is threatening to drive the taxi industry into obsolescence.....
Relate to the Change AQ (AJC Prelim 2014) where technology is said to render traditional enterpris obsolete.
