TASK:
Imagine you are a reporter in Glamis working for the local newspaper, “The Glamis Herald”. Using information given in Act 1 Scene 2, write a newspaper article for the front page of “The Glamis Herald”, reporting on the rebellion that Macbeth (The Thane of Glamis) was sent to quell.
-do on A4 size paper/cardboard
-include the name of the newspaper (“The Glamis Herald”) on top
-have an attention-grabbing headline for your article
-emphasise the role played by your local thane in the battle
-include, in direct speech, eye-witness’ quotes
-include imaginary views of people you interviewed over the event
-add pictures and other visual details to make the whole thing one full page
-reflect you name at the end of the article
